About Lord Hanuman
Lord Hanuman is a Hindu deity known for his great strength, devotion, and courage. He is a loyal follower of Lord Rama and plays a key role in the epic story of the Ramayana. Hanuman is seen as a protector who helps people through tough times and inspires qualities like bravery, humility, and selfless service.
Many pray to him for strength and support in life's challenges.
About Our Swami
Swami is the founder of the Wales Hanuman Temple. Born during the Tamil month of Margazhi (Mārgaṣīrṣa), traditionally observed as the month of Hanuman Jayanti.
In 2001, after the birth of his daughters, Swami had a profound mystical experience in which he felt the manifestation of Lord Hanuman. At that time, he didn't fully understand the significance of the experience and visited various churches, mosques, and temples in search of answers. It was only later that he realized Lord Hanuman had chosen him as his instrument.
This realization led Swami to embark on a deep meditative journey, during which he developed the ability to perceive the past, present, and future. In 2004, Swami relocated to Pinner, UK, where he began conducting poojas dedicated to Lord Hanuman.
By 2008, Swami had traveled to Germany, Paris, Canada, and Norway, offering spiritual counsel to those who sought his wisdom. In 2014, one of Swami's devotees visited the Kanakkanpatti Siddhar to inquire about a suitable location for a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman.
In 2017, Swami moved to Velindre, Wales, to begin the construction of the temple. Two years later, in 2019, the Maha Kumbhabhishekam (consecration ceremony) was held, officially inaugurating all the deities within the temple.
